Jill Collins, Director of Corporate and Public Affairs

Jill works across a range of OHC’s corporate and public affairs clients in the financial services, pharmaceutical, construction, transport and social affairs sectors.

She has a background in national and international media relations, public relations practice and political experience at the highest national level.

Formerly as Political Adviser to the Government Chief Whip in the Department of An Taoiseach, Jill advised the Chief Whip on issues relating to the legislative programme for Government, and day to day issues. A continuing part of her work throughout her period in Government Buildings was providing policy advice, speech writing and liaison with the media.

Based in Leinster House for three years prior to that, working with an MEP and TD, she garnered considerable knowledge of the workings of Government and the European Parliament, forging key relationships with Cabinet Ministers, MEPs, senior civil servants, political advisors and members of the print and broadcast media.

She holds a HDip in Business Studies from the Michael Smurfit Business School and an Honours BA in English and History from University College Dublin.
